LeadSpace Spatial Transcriptome Sequencing

Spatial transcriptomics technology preserves the in-situ spatial position information of tissues, perfectly integrating histological morphology with gene expression data. This provides a new research perspective for fields such as tumor microenvironment and developmental biology.
The Leadspace Spatial Transcriptomics System, independently developed by Lead Health, is paired with the Leadspace Spatial Omics Encoding Chip. This combination can capture both cell transcripts and spatial position coordinates, achieving single-cell resolution and transcript information capture for tissue sections.
The technology works by releasing the spatial barcode on the chip microspheres through photocleavage to mark the positions of nuclei in the tissue section. Then, single-cell sequencing is used to obtain cell transcripts along with their corresponding spatial position coordinates, thereby realizing single-nucleus in-situ sequencing of tissue sections.
